The Martyn Williams saga rolls on this week with more talk of will he get a contract next year?
YES! With no shadow of doubt the Blues should retain his services if they don’t it would be an absolute disgrace. I’d be ashamed that a man who has put his body on the line for the club and country for the last 15+ years only to be left out in the cold. As a friend said recently “it’s like kicking your dad in the balls”
People will always be quick to say he was never the biggest, strongest or most gifted but he has always been an honest player the likes we don’t see that often. He goes looking for that hard graft and willingly fly’s into contact. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him without a black eye!
Nugget, in case we don’t see you next season, I thank you on behalf of rugby fans everywhere. You have been a solid reliable servant of welsh rugby. Thanks for the memories.
